How far is the hotel from the airport?
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is approximately 1-1.5 hours away from The Hotel at Avalon, depending on traffic.
Does everyone need to fill out a registration form?
Yes. Every individual attending needs to submit a registration form on this website to ensure we have your name for your badge and an accurate meal count. Please do not register multiple attendees on one form.
Do I book my hotel directly with The Hotel at Avalon?
No. Once you submit your registration form, we will handle booking your reservation. We advise to not book directly to make sure you receive our HoneyBaked Group Room Rate.
What is the hotel cancellation policy?
If a hotel room was requested, a 1-night deposit ($209 + tax) will be taken from the credit card input on the form. This deposit becomes non-refundable 14 days after your registration is submitted, per group room block policy. For anyone registering after June 30th, the deposit is immediately non-refundable.
How do I register if I'm sharing a room with someone?
If you are sharing a room with someone, please make sure only ONE of you inputs the hotel information on the registration form. The second person can leave the hotel information blank. Both people still need to submit a registration form separately.
How do I know my hotel reservation is confirmed?
You will receive a confirmation email from us within 7-10 business days.
Can I stay at the hotel longer than the convention dates?
You are more than welcome to stay pre or post dates. Dates are subject to availability.
What is the attire?

Meetings: Plan to wear business casual attire to all meeting sessions, HBHCo swag is a great way to show off your love of our brand. Remember meeting rooms can fluctuate and while it might be summer you might want to have a light sweater for chilly meeting rooms

Awards Gala: Look sharp- think one step above business casual, one step below black tie/formal.
If I drive, where can I park? Is there a cost?
Parking Options:
Self-Parking: Free in general Avalon surface lots and parking decks (north/south sides), with fees for overnight stays in the hotel's dedicated garage.
Valet: Available at the hotel and other spots like near Oak Steakhouse; typically costs more than self-parking.
EV Charging: Stations are available in the parking areas.
Key Details:
Location: Parking is part of the entire Avalon mixed-use development.
Fees: Expect around $20 for overnight self-park and $28 for valet (as of early 2025).
Accessibility: The hotel provides its own valet, but you can also use the general Avalon decks for self-parking.
If I’m a Sponsor/Vendor that wants to attend the Convention, can I book a hotel room at the special price?
Yes, please submit a contact form and the event team will get back to you as soon as possible!
Who is allowed to come to the Convention?
You are allowed to bring guests to the Convention! Be sure that each person fills out a registration form separately. Please note: children are not allowed in the meetings and no child care or meals are provided.
Can I make reservations for meals at restaurants at the Avalon outside of the meeting agenda?
Absolutely! There are plenty of options in the Avalon area. If you need assistance with a reservation, please fill out a contact form. Outside meals are not covered.
Is there anywhere in the Avalon to get drinks and socialize outside of the hotel?
Yes! Just outside the hotel in walking distance, there are many options to socialize and network.
